After a five year relationship, which shouldn’t have lasted that long, my daughter and I moved in with my parents. Looking back it wasn’t the best move but it was what I thought was best at the time. I started a new job (because my mom kept bugging me to take it) and was still working at my old job on the weekends.
For some dumb reason I felt the need to date someone. This is when I came across two of the dwarfs they left out of Snow White, Looney and Arrogant. Looney had 5 kids. At first he seemed cool but then stories started changing and not adding up. Then he would lie to my face knowing that I know he’s full of crap and would expect me to go along with it. He’d cry when we would argue then when he seen tears weren’t working he completely flipped out. And oh yeah when I left him and moved on he keyed my van. Arrogant has 2 kids that he likes to brag about raising, because for whatever reason their mothers thought he was the better parent and gave him custody. The only reason his daughter graduated from college is because his mom and sister basically raised her. But trust me he took ALL the credit. His son was a great kid but Arrogant never really spent time with him. He’d have him go to his room and play video games. His idea of dinner was fast food. He always thought he was right and perfect. Even suggested I lose weight. Yes I could lose about ten pounds, I have a little pouch on me. But this guy looks like he’s 10 months pregnant, stops breathing in his sleep and sweats like crazy in his sleep. He never had real food in his house. Only eggs, butter, cereal, frozen waffles and pop. When we broke things off he had the nerve to tell me I never cooked for him. I informed him that if he actually had food in the house I would have loved to cook for him (something I also said when we were “together”). He tried to hit me up a few times after we stopped talking for a booty call but it never happened.
Fast forward about 5 months and I’m on POF. Yes the crazy hook up site Plenty of Fish. Had been on there off and on for a few months. One night a handsome man with the most magnificent smile pops up. I look at his page. We’re in the same city!! I send him a message not expecting a reply. He does. We exchange numbers and talk for over 3 hours that first night. He was literally everything I had prayed for. Never breaks a promise. Always follows thru with his word. And loves my daughter so much. And he’s now my husband. He makes me see why those past relationships didn’t work. Makes me want to be and do better. We have a total of 6 girls. With him the sky is the limit.
